There are many rural villages surrounding Stratford-upon-Avon where access to arts and culture can be limited. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to engage in creative practice.
The benefits are far-reaching: from supporting mental health and wellbeing, to strengthening communities and fostering a sense of cultural belonging.
There is so much to be gained from coming together to try something new, have fun and create something collectively. I believe Long Marston Little Theatre can provide a space for exactly that.
Theatre should be inclusive. It should not be elitist, inaccessible, expensive or discriminatory. Those principles are at the heart of our company.
I hope Long Marston Little Theatre will bring joy, build community spirit and nurture confidence in everyone who takes part — and that, in turn, their enthusiasm will become infectious.
